Essential Functions

  • Monitor and records vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.
  • Administers chemotherapy, injections and draws lab as ordered.
  • Dispense medications as directed by the physician.
  • Assist Physician during follow-ups and new consults.
  • Organize and execute treatment plan for patients' chemotherapy, lab work, and supportive care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Serves as intermediary for patient communication.
  • Educate patients and families on chemotherapy side effects, treatment plan, and home care instructions.

Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (BSN), Associate's degree (ADN), or completion of an accredited nursing program.
