Central Care COVID-19 update
UPDATE: 7/16/2020: Under normal circumstances, Central Care Cancer Center welcomes our patients’ visitors. We know in-person visits provide support and reassurance for patients and families alike. We pride ourselves on being a patient and family oriented organization.
But the COVID-19 pandemic is a difficult time for all of us. Times have changed dramatically due to the virus. We must do everything we can to prevent the spread of this disease and protect all of our patients and staff.
In order to do this, our visitor policy puts strong limits on visitors entering our facilities during this pandemic. No visitors will be permitted to visit or accompany patients, except for patients that are in need of a caregiver. We are also requiring face coverings in all of our locations.
COVID-19 is a contagious disease. It spreads quickly and can be dangerous, especially to people who are seriously ill or living with chronic conditions. Thank you for your understanding.
As of 3/24/2020, visitors will be limited to ONLY patients that are in need of a caregiver. All other visitors will now be PROHIBITED. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are attempting to ensure your safety as well as the safety of other patients and our staff. Thank you for your compliance.
Immediately call us before coming into your appointment:
- If you have been exposed to someone with possible or confirmed COVID-19
- If you have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath
- If you, or someone you have come in contact with have, recently traveled outside the country
- Only come into the clinic if necessary and call our receptionist if you have any questions
Telemedicine options are NOW available at every clinic in order to ensure our patients have a virtual option for attending their appointment! Please call the front desk to switch to a virtual appointment.
