Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with occasional need for flexibility based on clinic needs.
Essential Functions
- Lead, mentor, and manage the oncology team.
- Directly oversee and participate in the delivery of treatments.
- Manage the clinical operations of the oncology clinic.
- Conduct performace evaluations, provide feedback, adn develop action plans to address areas of improvement.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
- Work closely with physicians, support staff, hospital administration, and the executive team to implement and enhance oncology services.
- Monitor and assess patient care standards and make necessary adjustment to improve outcomes.
- Oversee and participate in the administration of chemotherapy, symptom management, and supportive care.
- Maintain compliance with all regualtory and accreditation standards.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between the nursing team and other clinical staff physicians, and administrative teams.
- Address patient and family concerns, providing educationa dn support as needed.
- Monitor resource utilization and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Desired Degree
Bachelor's degree (B.S.N.) from four-year college or university; or Associate's degree (A.D.N.); or has completed a nursing program.
Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.N.) from four-year college or university; or Associate's degree (A.D.N.); or has completed a nursing program.
- A minimum of 3 years in a clinical or medical management role.
- Strong backgrounnd in nursing with directo oncology experience preferred.
- Proven ability to lead a team, with a focus on patient care.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with physiciains, staff, patients, and administrative staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
