Accounts Payable Specialist

Central Care Cancer Center is hiring a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to work side by side with the Chief Financial Officer in the Salina, KS Administrative Office. This role will provide a multitude of administrative functions such as accounts payable as well as assist with finance and other general office duties.

  • Accounts Payable duties
  • Preparing daily bank deposit
  • Entering Accounts Payables
  • Scanning & attaching payables into finance software
  • Manage company credit cards
  • Manage & communicate with GPO’s
  • Assist finance department
  • General Office Duties
  • Will work closely with CFO and Administrative Team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, finance or related field.
  • Ability to learn accounting software as needed
  • Multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task duties and projects in fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word are a must)

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Work primarily in a clinical setting. Work in a controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazards.
  • Position is primarily sedentary with frequent sitting, occasional walking, occasional lifting (waist level) from floor, bending, and frequent near vision use for reading and computer use. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and computer use may be required.
