Receptionist – Bolivar, MO

Central Care Cancer Center is seeking a full-time Receptionist for our Bolivar, MO location. This role plays a critical role in creating a welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients, answering and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.

Essential Functions

• Welcome patients as they arrive at the clinic in a professional, friendly manner and assist with check-in.
• Answer incoming calls, determine the purpose of the call, and direct it to the appropriate department.
• Collect co-pays and registration information while maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial data.
• Schedule patient appointments and respond to patient inquiries.
• Provide general information about the organization, including directions and contact information.
• Maintain and update patient insurance information as needed.
• Monitor visitor access and issue passes when required.
• Prepare new patient charts, send out and verify patient paperwork.
• Organize and maintain medical records.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Job Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2+ years of medical office experience preferred; CNA experience is a plus.

Other Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
