Receptionist – Garden City
Heartland Cancer Center is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist to join our Garden City team. This role is essential in creating a warm, welcoming experience for our patients and providing vital administrative support to our clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion
- Check patients in/out and verify insurance information
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly
- Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with data entry
- Support daily office operations, including scanning, copying, and filing
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service or medical office experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with reliable follow-through
- Proficient with computers and basic office software
- Compassionate, patient-centered mindset
