The June Bug Foundation invites the public to go pink!! Pink Night at Emporia State University's Girls Volleyball game against Northwest Missouri State

October is breast cancer awareness month! The first 100 fans will get a commemorative ‘pink’ t-shirt with a donation. All money raised goes to benefit local cancer patients through the June Bug Foundation.

The June Bug Foundation was established at the Central Care Cancer Center in 2007 in honor of a patient who had been treated there. The fund is used to help ease the financial burden of patients at the center by helping pay for some costs including home expenses, transportation, lodging, food, and acquisition of medical equipment, such as wheelchairs and walkers. Approximately $45,000 has assisted patients with such expenses over the years. All applications received are considered on a case-by-case basis. The June Bug Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 organization.
